Intel 7 Series/c216 Chipset Family
I have a brand new Samsung series 5 model number NP510R5E-A01UB with pre-installed Windows 8. I have tried all of these websites and I can't come up with a solution. I used one of those free driver scans and it said that I might need Intel(R) 7 Series/C216 Chipset Family SMBus Host Controller - 1E22 because the one I have is out of date. I figured that if my laptop really needed it then it would be included in the updates from Samsung, but I have not seen anything like this. I can't afford to pay a website to install it.
I keep thinking that Windows 8 is the problem. I have never experienced anything like this before with a Windows 7 laptop. I have also tried many other 'solutions' but none of them have worked or stuck for that matter. I still keep getting 'Limited' connection every time I am surfing the internet or watching a video. It's very frustrating. I can't do anything on the internet without it constantly becoming 'Limited'.
